The Journal of the Research Center for Educational Technology
The Journal of the Research Center for Educational Technology (http://www.rcetj.org) provides a multimedia forum for the advancement of scholarly work on the effects of technology on teaching and learning. This online journal seeks to provide unique avenues for the dissemination of knowledge within the allied fields of new media and educational technology consistent with new and emerging technology research, theory, application and best practices. This is a very natural fit for members of the NMC.
The theme for a special Fall 2008 multimedia edition, "Multimedia, Media Convergence, Digital Storytelling, Public Understanding of Science," seeks to explore innovative uses of technology and multimedia (see the SitePal description on the story at http://www.nmc.org/news/nmc/call-research-center-ed-tech-journal ). Articles that emphasize topics in educational technology, multimedia, media convergence, digital storytelling, and the public understanding of science are of particular interest. See information for authors ( http://www.rcetj.org/default.aspx?type=cc&id=3388 )
